This place is the TRUTH! This taco truck is located on University and Bell at the Shells gas station and it's all of that. I'd always come across this place, but never really wanted to try it until now. My daughter and I went on a Friday and there was a line. Found out you can order over the phone which I'll do next time. I ordered a carne asada super burrito and some carne asada and chicken tacos and man it did not disappoint. The tortillas are hand made and the burrito was very hefty. The people were great and so was the food. They have a tent with several tables if you want to eat there. If your ever in East Palo Alto on the weekend it's a must you stop here. Worth the wait!
Highly recommended. A great place to have comfort food. I had the best quesadilla I've ever had! A very clean place. Family operated. Can speak English and accept phone payments. The to-go containers are recyclable. Clean tables with shade to eat next to the truck. conveniently located on University Avenue. Next to Shell gas station. If you happen to pass the station while going toward Dumbarton Bridge 84, I highly recommend stopping by. Even if you are not hungry take it home. I guarantee you will like it. I'm planning to try their other foods and report.
This truck is SO good and hands down my favorite Mexican food in the bay. This is a family run business and they're super attentive, sweet, and know their craft. We ordered asada sopes, pastor tacos, quesabirria, and an horchata. Their tortillas and sopes are made by hand, elevating each bite. They have tables near the truck, which is where we ate--can't wait to comeback!
Great family-run food truck with a convenient location! I've tried La Michoacanita Grill multiple times, and they always exceed my expectations. Their food is filled with flavor, fresh ingredients, and great portions. I would definitely recommend! Make sure to try the Burrito Bowls, and if you're vegetarian they have plenty of veggie options too.
I love this place, Barria tacos. They are delicious. I brought my family from New Orleans to try them. They were very satisfied, We'll be back again and again.
We were driving home from the Palo Alto farmers market and saw this food truck. We checked, and saw they had Quesa Birra s. We enjoyed the tacos & consommé. The service was excellent. They make everything fresh, worth the wait. We will be back to try more on their menu. The owner, Jaime was super nice, please support this family business you will not regret it!
So glad they added cheeseburgers and fries. My kids love their cheeseburgers and fries. Everything they make is cravable.

Super friendly service, amazing home style cooking, and lists of food for the price. Highly recommend! We especially liked the flexibility. I ordered the Mole special, and they put it in a burrito for me with a couple extras, and my wife's enchilada had cheese inside with seasoned chicken and potatoes on the side, along with lots of avocado, tomatoes and extras! Yummmmy!
